About

Building and growing collaborative business communities is my passion. I have specialised in the professional services and advisory sectors for 20+ years, as an entrepreneur, a researcher, and a business Advisor. I’ve taken a licensed model internationally to 8 countries and have extensive experience in Chairing commercial Advisory Boards for high-growth businesses.

These experiences continue to provide me with a research base and a unique insight into the challenges faced by business owners when they want to grow, go global and create succession. It has enabled me to remain current in the market and to drive the Advisory sector forward.

I have had the good fortune of sitting on both sides of the board room table; in the shoes of a Founder and that of a Chair of multiple advisory boards. Consequently, I have the privilege of facilitating leading executive education programs for organisations with existing advisory boards and incredibly ambitious, progressive, and committed advisory board members, supporting their professional development and in turn, the organisations that they serve. This is deeply rewarding and challenging, and I will continue to strive to make a difference as a pioneer within the advisory sector.

is right for a growing micro business is a challenge as a focus on one particular area of the business can be to the detriment of others.

The opportunities, however, can be plentiful. Finding balance in a busy work and family life can be challenging in employment as flexibility is often absent. Self-employment allows individuals
to dictate their work hours, which does not necessarily mean less hours but being available when it counts.

Professional independence and creative autonomy are also rewards that individuals realise in operating their own business. Being able to chart a course and follow it is an opportunity
    seldom on offer in employment.

The role of people management during the pre and post natural disasters is complex and overwhelming. Being the first port of call and information centre for employees, it is often the starting point of recovery for the organisation as well as employees.
